To ensure long-lasting beauty, our jewelry requires careful care.
Nickel-free sterling silver and gold plating
Our Sistie and Izabel Camille collections include genuine nickel-free sterling silver jewelery as well as gold-plated jewelery in 18k gold-plated sterling silver. Note that the gilding can gradually wear over time.
To protect your jewellery, we recommend storing them separately in the supplied plastic bags to avoid scratches and oxidation. Avoid leaving the jewelery hanging unprotected on a jewelery stand; it is best to store them in an airtight bag.
Recycled stainless steel with gold platingOur Sistie 2nd and Samie collections are made of recycled stainless steel with a gold plating of 18 kt. gold and treated with a PVD coating. This coating is extremely durable and withstands sweat, water, moisture and perfume.
Clean them with a soft cloth or brush. Be careful not to scratch them and store them carefully when not in use.
General Jewelery Care Advice
- Always remember to take off your sterling silver jewelery during activities such as washing hands, bathing, swimming, sports and cleaning.
- Do not sleep with the jewelery on and apply hairspray and creams before wearing the jewellery.
- Both sterling silver (925), gold-plated sterling silver and rhodium-plated sterling silver require cleaning to maintain their beauty.
- Stainless steel jewelry treated with durable PVD coating is extremely durable and can withstand sweat, water, moisture and perfume.
Cleaning of Jewelry
- For sterling silver: Polish the jewelry with a soft cloth or clean it in mild soapy water, let it dry completely before wearing it again.
- For stainless steel: Use a microfiber cloth or soft cloth to clean the jewelry, and use a soft toothbrush to gently remove dirt and dust.
- For gold-plated sterling silver and rhodium-plated sterling silver: Clean with a dry soft cloth and use Silver dip to remove oxidation.
FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions
- My jewelry gets stains! Store your jewelery in the airtight bags we provide with the order and use silver dip to remove stains caused by the natural oxidation process.
- The locks on the ear plugs are loose! Carefully pinch the loose locks together to ensure a better fit.
- The stones/pearls are not the same or have blemishes! Please note that natural materials such as pearls and crystals may vary in shape and colour.
